I've made Facial Tissue Pouches as a doorgift for a friend of mine recently. Last minute order and as usual when it comes to last minute, i've forgotten everything and coincidentally i've got problem with my camera. It needs to be fixed actually but frankly speaking it is time for me to get a new camera. Haha!! Guess what.. i already fall in love making small tiny things!! they are really cute and i hope u'll find the same too.. For that reason i've made another stack of facial tissue pouches for sale.

Hari tu saya ada beli majalah impiana yang salah satu kolumnya dihiasi oleh kawan craft kita yang kreatif tu. siapa lagi kalau bukan cik tinihani. tertarik dgn tuala dapur yg dipamerkan didalam kolum tu lalu saya pun buatlah satu untuk kegunaan saya sendiri. Quick update je ni..Gambar 'kemeja kuning' ni dah lama tersimpan dlm iphoto tu asyik lupa je nak upload. tahap lupa yg semakin menjadi-jadi. kadang2 terfikir juga apalah yang saya ingatkan sangat sampai banyak benda saya boleh lupa. itulah manusia kan??

i'll be sitting for my final paper on this coming friday. hopefully everything is going to be o.k. right now i am over loaded with cases, sections and authorities. it seems that everything have been mixed up. huhu.. i just hope that my small pentium will run smoothly when the times come. Waiting for the right time to burst it out!! hopefully this coming friday is the right time to burst all it out. i just can't stand going thru this stressful and painful period hence i made this!!

I simply made this to calm down myself. At least it works!! It really works on me!!

Dah lama menggunakan Janome 2049 tapi amat jarang menggunakan tapak lubang butangnya. Bila dah tahu cara nak menggunakannya rasa seronok pulak. Pada kawan2 yg ingin berkongsi melihat cara penggunaan tapak lubang butang tersebut, silalah klik pada gambar di bawah yer. Nasib baik ada youtube. Teringin juga nak buat tutorial macam kawan2 yg lain tapi rasanya saya belum layak lagi..

I've finished with one paper yesterday. Quite difficult subject (for me lah). Land law...can't describe my feelings when i first saw the questions. i got blanked suddenly. though the statute (national land code) can be brought into the exam hall but for law student, it is so meaningless if u can't digest those sections and u forget all your cases. actually u will have no time to turn into the pages of the code pun. 3 hrs was like 30 minutes for me. and i was running out of time yesterday!! that's it!! that's the real issue here. i didn't got the chance to re-check my answers!! and i hardly can remember 2-3 cases jer!!! from hundreds of cases i've read, i can hardly remember that much only!! that what was happened to me yesterday. before entering into the exam hall, i was quite confident to sit for the paper but after that....only God knows what I went through yesterday. I couldn't sleep last night. I was thinking about all the possibilities in the future...i'm hoping for something magical and miracle to happen to my answer script!! hehe!! btw, i'll have another paper tomorrow. wish me luck yerr!!

Just forget all those!! just want to share a picture of a blouse that i've sewn couple of months ago. it was kind of experiment for me cause i've never sewn anything like it before. Fabric used was from nagoya. it fits me but i don't dare to wear it. not yet at this time or maybe it's gonna be just a sample. hehe...

Bright and clear wheather today. Alhamdulillah...
At home with Sara as Saffiya is with her grandmother.
Poor kids...as we never plan to go anywhere during this school break
I have a lot of assignments to be done
All to be settled during this school break!!
This is the only time where I can concentrate more
on my books and studies!!!
And I have to tune off all other activities that plays in my mind (perhaps until my semester ends!!)
This is the most stressful period!!! ArrrgggHHH!!!

My mind being disturb with a lot of things lately
tsunami...earthquake...politics...women's right...bla..bla..bla...
hey!!! semua tu sangat mengganggu fikiran saya hokkaayy!!

don't know which one has to be given priority
that is my biggest weaknesses (at least i have guts to admit it ehhh)
Nevertheless, I am really grateful for having a great support and understanding from my hubby and kids (especially)
also from the rest of our family
thanks a zillion to them for being my great supporter all this while
without them i could do nothing!!

It has been quiet a while since my last post. Owwhhh...I just don't know how to manage my time properly (the main reason why I can't blog so much). So many things to be attended to and the little time that left is mainly for my books therefore no more time left for my hobby!! huhuhu..

Terbelek2 gambar yg masih bersisa dlm hard disk computer, tiba2 muncul pulak idea nak menghimpunkannya. Maka lahirlah ia dalam rupabentuk yang sebegini...

Tak banyak yg boleh dihimpunkan pun sbb mmg tak banyak hasil 'kerastangan' yg dihasilkan. Maklumlah waktu amat terbatas. Kadang2 terfikir jugak alangkah bagusnya kalau dalam satu hari ada lebih drpd 24 jam. tp sy rasa kalau muncullah saat itu pun kita semua mungkin dah tak ada di dunia yang fana ni kan?? Kiamat le jwbnya.

Just nak share a few stories. Seperti sedia maklum, sewing and crafting are truly my passion. Hanya org2 yg ada dlm kasut kita je yg mengetahui bahawa betapa BESTNYA MENJAHIT ni kan?? and because of that, I have attended a few classes just to improve my sewing skills. From that few classess I got a chance to meet new people, new set of friends and totally new environment.

Guess what?? I feel so grateful being around the new set of friends and that of totally new environment!! Hey!! They are happy and they are really contented on their life. Dulu2 saya sering juga mengeluh tentang itu dan ini..walaupun hal tu adalah hal yg remeh temeh. 'Kawan2 baru' mengajar saya tentang 'kehidupan'. Kehidupan dari perspektif yang berbeza!! Mereka sangat gembira walaupun hanya memiliki kain pasang utk dibuat baju kurung yang di beli di "Sakan"(org Kuantan mungkin tahu kewujudan "Sakan" ni). Dan saya hanya menyedari tentang kewujudan "sakan" melalui 'kawan2 baru' saya ni. Saat itu saya semakin mengakui bahawa "Money Can't Buy Happiness". Saya bersyukur kerana Allah mempertemukan sy dgn kawan2 yg sentiasa mengingatkan saya bahawa hidup ini adalah sementara dan destinasi kita yang kekal adalah 'di sana'.

BOMs

Telah melangsaikan hutang piutang saya dengan kesemua rakan2 BOM. Tiga BOMs ni telah diposkan masing2 kepada Kak Maz, Fida dan Diana pada minggu lepas lagi. Harap kesemua mereka telah menerimanya. Maaf kepada mereka semua kerana lewat menghantarnya. Jadi dengan ini saya memaklumkan bahawa kesemua hutang BOM saya kepada rakan2 BOM yg lain telah habis dilangsaikan. Syukur Alhamdulillah...

Kemudian nanti saya akan updatekan BOM2 yg telah saya terima dari rakan2 BOM pula. Ada beberapa BOM lagi yg masih belum saya terima. Semuanya akan saya updatekan kemudian yerr..

Sew n Swap

berjaya menyertai 'sew n swap' project yg di'hos'kan oleh zura hari tu. Due datenya pd 31/12/2010 yg lalu tetapi sy (tanpa dirancang & tanpa diduga) terpaksa membuat due date saya sendiri. hehehe..spt yg tlh dinyatakan sblm ni (bagai jatuh ditimpa tangga), mesin jahit dan laptop sy kedua2nya terpaksa dihantar utk 'rawatan' di rumah sakit yg berdekatan. ironically nya ia berlaku serentak!!! huhu..berpeluh dan tak tidur mlm sy dibuatnya sbb terkenangkan 'hutang piutang' sy pd rakan 'swap' dan juga rakan "BOM" saya... Minta maaf pd mereka semua yerr..

dipendekkan cerita, rakan 'swap' saya ialah si manis liza 'iro-iro' tu. hop on to her site yerr.. saya jahitkan untuknya 'lunch-tote-bag' dan juga pincushion. saya peroleh tutorial lunch-tote-bag tu dari sini.

Terketar2 tangan nak membuatnya. bermacam2 perkara berlegar di fikiran pd masa tu. dah lah dah terlepas due date, lepas tu my swap partner pun can be considered as professional whereas myself is neither ameteur nor professional!! haih...(dalam hati : tu lah gatal sangat nak join 'swap2' nih).

lifeless blog lately...i know...the truth is, i faced difficulty in updating my own blog because there was nothing to be updated!! hehe.. my sewing machine + lappy were 'ill' past few weeks and i need to send them both for some 'repairing and servicing' works. and due to that problems i have to 'postpone' few projects. i feel so guilty and embarrased towards my swap partner, liza and 3 other Bomesian friends (Kak Maz, Fida n Diana) for failing to fulfill my duty on time. but now those pending projects had been completed and being sent to them since yesterday. Perhaps they'll be receiving it if not today maybe tomorrow and hoping that they'll like it.

Below are the 'lunch bags' for my kids. The tutorial can be found here. They were not as perfect as ayumi's (of course and i have to admit that) but still the kids were so happy to have it. They really proud to carrying it at school because according to them all of their friends are admiring it. and they keep asking my kids where did they got the bags. kids kan suka bercerita dan kakak (my eldest) told me "kakak beritahu kawan2, mama yang jahitkan untuk kakak sambil hidung kakak ni kembang kuncup menahan rasa bangga sebab semua kawan2 puji beg tu cantik". haha.. tu yang tak tahan tu...sampai kembang kuncup hidung. But please don't get me wrong.. i'm not trying to show off whatsoever..it's just that i'm trying to share my happiness with all of you here. i guess most of you will get the same feelings whenever your kids love your work so much kan??? as for adik (my youngest) will never forget to bring it to her KAFA. there was one day when i totally forgot to bring along her lunch bag and she refused to go to school (sebenarnya she was trying to find excuse to skip her class) and what I did was I went back home just to get her lunch bag and then only she kept quite. ohh..sungguh letih melayan karenah anak2 ni kan?? tapi tu semuanya detik2 yang tak mungkin dirasai lagi apabila mereka dewasa kelak. And i'm sure we'll miss the moment one day. that's why i'm trying my level best to make them happy by giving them my full attention. I will listen to every words they say and I will try to fulfill all their wishes as long as their wishes do not contravene with our religious and our mature adult thinking. I just hope that they will grow up well and be a brilliant pious person and will be able to recognize the good and bad things. As a muslim I always tell them that the life hereafter is much more important. Whatever they do they must think of the consequences and everything that we do we must regard them as part of our ibadah. berceloteh panjang lebar pulak kali ni. dah terkeluar tajuk dah nih...

Big n Small

These are the purses which i've made few months back. I have decided to give the bigger one to my mum. she don't mind at all about the colours. mom always appreciate whatever i did for her no matter how small it is and i always ask myself whether can i be like her? mom is always a person who is full of courage yet loving kan? i don't think (but i always hope) that i can love and appreciate her as much as she loves and appreciates me. Siapa lah dalam dunia ni yang tak sayangkan mak kan? and in the end i always ended up saying to myself (with guilty feelings): is that all u can do and give to your mom?? mak, if u ever got the chance to read and understand this, I just want u to know that "you are the queen of my heart". really love u and always miss u.

This is my 1st attempt to use embroidery machine. Not satisfactorily done but was so happy doing it. I am contemplating on something so this is kinda practice for me. Will do a lot of practice until myself get satisfied with the outcome. Practice makes perfect!!

Will do some 'exploration' with the functions of the machine so that I will get used to it.

Raining day here in Kuantan. Monsoon season has come. I'm happy in one way when it comes to monsoon season cause the weather will get cold most of the time but feel worry at the same time as it also can cause flood especially in the east coast area. So if you are going on a vacation during this school holidays please be more extra careful while you are driving on the road. Have a safe journey!!

We decided to send her for 'Klinik Al-Quran' during this school break. She already knew it is for her own benefit. I can't stand seeing her wasting her time by doing nothing and at the end of the day the school break will be ended up just like that. I hope she will get some benefit from the programme. And as a token for her obedience I made her a tote bag using fabrics of her choice. She was so happy to have it .

The bag is roomy enough to put her 'Al-Quran', the pencil case, note books and also her water bottle. I purposely made it slightly bigger so that she can use it for other purpose as well.

The outer view. She loves mushroom so much and I like the print of the fabric which has very bright colour combination. Don't you think so??

I even put her name on the bag with 2 flowery buttons as an embellishment. I think it's nice and simple.

The inner view. It has two pockets where she can put along her phone and also her wallet.

We are in Temerloh right now enjoying ourselves in the hotel room as hubby needs to get his work done. Temerloh is only a small district in Pahang nevertheless we are happy to be here. Temerloh is so famous with its 'ikan patin'. Have you tried it before? Some people are crazy about it. I've never tried it but would love to try it one day.

I left my camera at my parents house!!! and I left other important things as well!! what a forgetful person i am...hummm..

Challenging...was the first word uttered from my mouth. I've made few mistakes while doing it. expected already because i haven't sewn anything for quite sometime. doing these BOMs means i have to start from zero again!! hahaha... have to really read the instructions..have to really understand the instructions!! and i thought i was careful enough while doing it but still i made mistake. hmmmm... we are only a human being kan...cannot free from mistake maaa...

This is what i made for myself recently. after a long break from sewing activity i think it's time for me to sew something for a start. something that is simple and easy to start with. so this is it...

i made this for my sewing activity purposes. i need a bag which is big enough to put my sewing tools. i hope i can spend more time to go to epal during this school break. all this while i never had time to go there.

I'm feeling free rite now. fuhhh!! at last..after a long battle. just kinda hard to believe that i'm back. yeah!! i'm back (at least for the time being). i guess u all know what's in my head rite now. hey...i'm trying to give an excuse, o.k. there's nothing better than to give an excuse for our inability to achieve something kan?? hurmmm.. itu lah saya. dush..dush..(tangan sekali kat pipi untuk tujuan menyedarkan diri).

Sunbonnet Sue Zippy Pouch ni saya sengaja buatkan untuk kak zai. Nak cuba guna semula mesin jahit yang dah lama saya tinggalkan setelah memiliki janome 2049 tu. Sekarang ni janome tu saya letakkan di pejabat encik abang... So kalau datang2 kat ofis tu tak delah macam ayam kena tungau!! hahaha..

Inilah rupanya sunbonnet sue zippy pouch tu dari luar. saya jahit guna mesin singer yang lama tu. itulah mesin jahit pertama yang saya ada. encik abang yang beriya belikan. agaknya kesian tengokkan saya yang tak tahu apa nak dibuat kat rumah (diwaktu lapang). jahitannya tak berapa kemas sebab baru belajar2 nak menggayakan mesin tu.

Ini rupanya dari sebelah dalam. tak ada poket pun. kosong aje, tapi bolehlah kalau setakat nak diletakkan kunci kereta dan handphone di dalamnya. harap kak zai suka.

Inilah rupanya mesin jahit saya yang lama tu. memang tak pernah digunakan pun semenjak dibeli. Guna masa 'sesi percubaan' untuk 'mengesahkan' yang ianya boleh digunapakai setelah dibeli. lepas tu terus simpan sehinggalah ia digunakan semula untuk jahit sunbonnet sue zippy pouch tu. daa...

Sekian lama saya meninggalkan 'teratak' yang tak seberapa ni. Bermacam2 perkara berlaku sepanjang peninggalan saya. Sekarang ni tanggungjawab saya semakin bertambah lantas membuatkan waktu 'berblogging' menjadi semakin terbatas. 'Hutang-piutang' saya kepada rakan2 BOM masih lagi bebaki. Akan tetapi telah saya sempurnakan semuanya dan Insyaallah esok akan saya lunaskan kesemua hutang-piutang saya itu. Tunggu yer kak aton dan juga Fawa... Saya poskan kedua-dua BOM kalian pada esok hari!!

Urrrmm... Perasan tak? Saya dah tukar wajah template saya. Bosanlah dengan template yang sama setiap hari!! Inginkan sedikit pembaharuan untuk menghilangkan kebosanan yang semakin bersarang ni!! Chat Box saya juga telah saya 'nyahkan'. Banyak sangat yang tak berkenaan datang bertandang. Agak lama juga saya meninggalkan 'teratak' saya ni. Puncanya saya kurang sihat...dan kini my MIL pula kurang sihat dan telah dimasukkan ke hospital. Masih lagi di sana...dan saya pula sering berulang alik ke hospital sejak akhir2 nih. dan sekarang ini..di saat ini..sara pulak menunjukkan tanda2 yang dia juga kurang sihat. macam2 virus lah sekarang nih... aku dah letih nak melawannya...

Saya masih lagi 'berhutang' ngan kak aton. BOM untuk dia telah lama saya siapkan cuma tak berkesempatan untuk mengeposnya lagi. Esok lusa Insyaallah...saya akan poskan sekali dengan BOM untuk Fawa juga. Maaf banyak2 pada kak aton. saya dah hantar e-mail pada kak aton tapi no reply. tak tahu samada kak aton ada terima tak e-mail saya tu. Kak aton, sori to keep you waiting..

saya akan kembali setelah saya benar2 sihat. Insyaallah...

Saya memang dah lama gian nak mengemas rumah (salah satu terapi jiwa bagi saya). Teratak kami ni sangatlah kecilnya jadi keupayaan untuk mendeko tu amat terbatas. Errmmm..beginilah orang2 kecil seperti kami...(sedihnya bunyi). sebenarnya saya ni yang tak ada telent nak merapi rumah pun!!! hahaha... kalau orang yang pandai merapi tak kira rumah kecil atau besar memang ada saja idea untuk menjadikannya kelihatan menarik kan??? jadinya saya mengaku sajalah yang saya ni tak ada bakat semulajadi nak menghias dan merapi nih...

Alas meja untuk table lamp saya. saya mintak ampun dan mahap saya memang tak tahu apa nama meja yang kecik tu sebenarnya. saya anggap ianya sebagai meja selagai ia masih boleh berfungsi sebagai meja!!! kan boleh letak barang tu.... kira macam mejalah jugak tu... ampun!! memang tak tahu nama benda alah tu yang sebenar...

rattan coffee table ni pun dah ada baju. selama ni ia dibiarkan bertelanjang bulat jer...dah berapa dekad ianya bersama kami tapi tak pernah pun saya hirau akan perasaannya...terasa macam zalim pulak saya ni... apa pun sekarang ni ianya telah dipakaikan baju!!!

Rak majalah merangkap meja radio saya yang kecit ni pun dah ada baju... tempat ni lah tempat saya mencari ilham... saya suka dengar radio!! radio kecit tu radio kesayangan saya tau!! memang sangat sayang sebab saiznya yg kecit tu lah.. saya memang amat sukakan objek2 yang kecit sebab tu lah agaknya saya amat geram bila tengok baby yang kecit2 tu.... geramnya...siapa ada baby?? saya nak gigit dia!! Jaga-jaga!!!

Ini adalah aktiviti permulaan setelah tamat peperiksaan..hooray!!! Saya siapkannya malam tadi jugak, memandangkan hari ini adalah hari cuti umum di Pahang. Anak2 saya tidak perlu ke mana2 hari ini jadi saya tidak perlu risau sangat untuk tidur lewat malam tadi.

Saya namakannya 'langsir mini'. Digantung disudut dapur basah saya. Kainnya saya beli dari cik diesha (sila ke side bar saya untuk linkknya yer..). ingatkan nak buat lagi satu untuk tingkap di bilik belakang saya, tapi kainnya tak cukup pulak. dah tanya pada diesha tp stoknya unavailable.

Mungkin di bilik belakang tu saya perlu gunakan kain lain pulak. hummm...nampak tak seragamlah pulak nanti..

Saya puas hati sebab akhirnya saya berjaya menjahit langsir untuk saya sendiri!! Nampaknya raya nanti tak payah susah2 nak cari tukang jahit langsir lagi. habislah tutup kedai jahit langsir kat kuantan ni nanti..kihkihkih..apapun sebenarnya patern ni patern yg mudah saja sebab tu lah saya berjaya membuatnya. Tak ada apa2 yang fantastic pun mengenainya, kan?? Cuma nak berkongsi kegembiraan ngan kawan2 kat luar sana yang saya dah berjaya melakukannya!!

Saya ada beberapa projek lagi kat dalam kepala saya ni yang nak dikongsi bersama kawan2 yg lain. Once done i'll show it to you yer... rite now chow chin chau..

Berada di dalam keadaan yang amat tertekan buat masa ini!! Itulah penyebab utama mengapa saya jarang lagi berada di sini sejak akhir2 ini. Peperiksaan akhir akan bermula minggu hadapan dan akan berakhir pada 6/5/2010. Tetapi sekurang-kurangnya Zura dan Kak Zila telah berjaya menggembirakan saya pada hari ini. Fabrik2 yang telah saya pesan dari Zura dan juga Majalah cucito dari Kak Zila telah saya terima sebentar tadi. (Gambarnya tak sempat untuk dimuatnaik ke sini. Mungkin di masa akan datang!! Kamera pun tak de dengan saya sekarang ni.) Terima kasih kepada mereka berdua!! At least they have reduced my tension!! Thanks to both of them.

Saya berada dalam keadaan yang amat 'menyesakkan' buat masa sekarang. Haven't done with anything (yet). Bertungkus lumus menyiapkan segala macam 'assignments' dan persediaan untuk 'presentation' bagi tujuan peperiksaan akhir semester. Sangat sesak!! Dan seperti biasa, waktu2 beginilah anak2 dan suami terpaksa 'diabaikan' buat seketika. Turutkan hati, memang sudah tidak berdaya lagi untuk terus-terusan berkeadaan yang sentiasa 'menyesakkan' seperti sekarang ini. Mujurlah saya mempunyai suami + anak2 serta keluarga (baik di pihak saya mahupun di pihak suami) yang sentiasa memberi sokongan, dorongan, bantuan dan sentiasa bersedia untuk memahami keadaan saya. Alhamdulillah... Jasa baik mereka semua hanya mampu saya kenang hingga ke akhir hayat kerana terus terang saya akui di sini, saya tidak mampu untuk membalasnya. Hanya Allah sahaja yang lebih mengetahui balasan yang setimpal di atas kebaikan mereka semua itu. Ya Allah!! Sesungguhnya saya memang makhluk yang serba kekurangan!!!

Walaubagaimanapun, saya tetap ingin meneruskan 'niat' saya untuk memuatnaik gambar2 hasil 'kerastangan' saya yang tak seberapa tu. hihihi... Dah lama siap sebenarnya cuma sentiasa sahaja tidak berkesempatan untuk memuatnaik gambar2 tersebut.

Yang ini bagi tujuan memuatkan alat-alat solek saya. Opppss... saya bukanlah seorang yang pandai bersolek pun. Mungkin tidak keterlaluan jika saya nyatakan di sini bahawa saya tidak pernah bersolek!!! hahaha..seiingat saya, pertama dan terakhir kali saya bersolek ialah pada hari perkahwinan saya (itupun 9 tahun yang lampau). Hmmm... memang melampau!! Hanya sekadar mengoleskan 'compact powder' berserta sedikit calitan pewarna bibir, itulah yang saya gunakan sehari2. Rasanya memang perlu untuk ke kursus 'grooming' kot saya ni!!! Pada kawan2 yang lain, anda sangat bertuah jika sekiranya anda tergolong dalam kalangan mereka yang pandai bersolek!! Saiz untuk 'make-up pouch' lebih besar berbanding saiz yang di bawah ini.

Ha...yang ini pula bagi tujuan menyimpan telefon bimbit saya. Ada dua telefon, you!! memang saya melampau!!! eh..eh.. ini untuk tujuan 'penggambaran' sahaja. Saya hanya memiliki telefon bimbit yang buruk yang memang amat memalukan jika ianya dipaparkan di sini (sebagai tontonan umum pulak tu!!). Seram mak nak menayangkannya di sini...

Saiznya memang lebih kecil berbanding dengan 'make-up pouch' yang tersebut di atas. Apa2 hal pun sebagai penutup, pattern untuk pouch ni saya perolehi di sini. Kena beli you!!! It's not for free of course. Daaaa.....

A friend of mine, Yani had asked me a favour. Frankly, I told her, at this point of time I might get her disappointed because I am terribly busy with my study schedule. A lot of assignment and presentation to be done and to be prepared. And the most important is my preparation to sit for the exams on this coming April!!

I've got new company with me!!! It was placed together with my other sewing tools and kits underneath my sewing machine. To be used in my sewing corner as a 'shield' to my feet!!! Lately I've been complaining about my knee. Some friends thought that it might caused by the machine hence suggested that I ought to use kinda 'shield' during my sewing activity. Believe it or not, I'm done with it and I feel comfortable using it during my sewing activity. Now the thing is outstripping tools too!!! (for myself).

Sedang saya terjengah2 aktiviti kawan2 BOM yang lain tiba-tiba ternampak sesuatu....hahaha...Mungkin kebetulan agaknya kain merah yang saya guna menyerupai kain yang digunakan oleh cik fida kita. perasan tak??? mungkin sama tapi tak serupa...agaknya saya dan fida ada 'chemistry' yang kuat berkenaan dengan pemilihan fabrik berwarna merah untuk bulan ini!!!

Punyalah nak cepat amik gambar sampaikan tak sempat BOM tu digosok semula. Errrmm..nak amik gambar semula rasa macam dah tak kuasa. Bukannya apa, dua minggu kebelakangan ni masa saya banyak terluang (lebih dari biasa) untuk anakanda berdua tu. Bergilir2 pulak mereka demam!!! Dan sekarang giliran saya pulak nak demam (tapi tadi dah mkn paracetamol). tahan sikit rasanya. Bab2 demam ni saya lebih menggunakan 'psikologi'. kalau dibuat tak tahu saja ianya akan beransur pulih dengan sendirinya tetapi kalau dilayan sgt perasaan tu mmg satu kerja pon tak menjadi!!!

Cukuplah bebelan saya utk kali ini. Insyaallah saya akan poskannya pada esok hari. Harap2 kak naiz suka!!! tunggu eh kak...

Quick update for today. This is for our Musliha. This month is her turn. She chose pink and red therefore this is the outcome. Perhaps she's gonna get this by tomorrow because i'm packing it and gonna post it by today. I have to rush because this week is the final week for the BOM to be posted. Furthermore this coming friday is a public holiday (Maulud Nabi), so it's good for me to get it done by today!!! Hope Mus gonna like this. Hopefully huh!!!

Saffiya asked me to make a bag for her english teacher, cikgu Rozina...in conjunction with her birthday last week. I ended up making this bag and I hope she'll like it. According to Saffiya, Cikgu Rozina is one of her favourite teacher (as english is one of her favourite subject too!!!).

***we went back to 'kampung' for the whole week to celebrate CNY (kidding!!). we went back to visit my parents and siblings!!! Long time we have not visited them (nearly a month!!!). ye lah...normally we will be going back to kampung at least once a month-just to visit our parents!!! it is kinda 'must do thing' in our lists because our parents is our priority. And our kids were soooooo happy to be with their grandparents and also their aunties and uncles!!! We were happy too!!!

Apologies for my inability to be here so frequent. I have to juggle my time with kids, home, hubby and my study (not to forget, my 'hobby' as well). Errmmm...trying to give excuses (again n again). but hey!! that's the reality!!

These are some of my 'finished products'. hehehe.. I'm sure most of us have seen it before. The tutorial can be found in our Miss Ayumi's. Ohhh!!! I adore every inch of her handmade!!! Superb talented girl, I would say!!!

The puffy pouch. Easy to make. No hassle, save a lot of time.

Instead of using the flex frame, I have used the velcro tape. Fyi, its rather difficult to get the said flex frame in Kuantan. In small town like us in my opinion not many people willing to spend in this kind of hobby. The 'tools' and the the 'kits' for this kind of hobby are limited that makes it sooooo hard to get. Luckily I've joined epal craft centre way back before they started to open the centre here in Kuantan. Thanks again to my hubby for his kind attention and understanding towards my 'passion', I mean crafting!!!

To be frank, I have great satisfaction doing it!!! Too cute to let it go but I have given it to my friends as a gift wholeheartedly!!! and they were sooo happy upon receiving it.

BEFORE THE LAW stands a doorkeeper. To this door-keeper there comes a man from the country and prays for admittance to the Law. But the doorkeeper says that he cannot grant admittance at the moment. The man thinks it over and then asks if he will be allowed in later. "It is possible," says the doorkeeper, "but not at the moment." Since the gate stands open, as usual, and the doorkeeper steps to one side, the man stoops to peer through the gateway into the interior. Observing that, the doorkeeper laughs and says: "If you are so drawn to it, just try to go in despite my veto. But take note: I am powerful. And I am only the least of the door-keepers. From hall to hall there is one doorkeeper after another, each more powerful than the last. The third doorkeeper is already so terrible that even I cannot bear to look at him." These are difficulties the man from the country has not expected; the Law, he thinks, should surely be accessible at all times and to everyone, but as he now takes a closer look at the doorkeeper in his fur coat, with his big sharp nose and long, thin, black Tar-tar beard, he decides that it is better to wait until he gets permission to enter. The doorkeeper gives him a stool and lets him sit down at one side of the door. There he sits for days and years. He makes many at-tempts to be admitted, and wearies the doorkeeper by his importunity. The doorkeeper frequently has little interviews with him, asking him questions about his home and many other things, but the questions are put indifferently, as great lords put them, and always finish with the statement that he cannot be let in yet. Selamat Tahun Baru kepada semua. Harapnya masih tidak terlambat lagi untuk saya mengucapkannya kepada semua. Ini adalah fabrik2 di dalam penyertaan "Fat Quarter Joint Venture" anjuran kak zila. cantik fabrik2nya. memang saya suka. terima kasih kak zila!!!

Yang ini pula adalah buku yang saya perolehi daripada alynn. sangat teruja untuk memilikinya lalu membuka langkah seribu untuk mendapatkannya daripada alynn. Alhamdulillah..saya berjaya memilikinya. Suka sangat buku ni..

Slash Quilt ni mengingatkan aku ketika saat pertama aku mula belajar menjahit. at that time i know nothing about sewing especially quilting n patchworking. Baju mmg langsung tak tahu jahit apatah lagi kalau nak buat quilting ataupun patchwork.

Slash quilt ni ler was my 1st project. bila diingat2 balik kelakar pulak rasanya bila 1st time berjaya membuatnya.

Tapi sekarang ni dah lima tahun menjadi ahli VIP epal. Alhamdulillah..bnyk yg aku pelajari dari sana. cuma projeknya selalu ajer tak berkesempatan nak up-load kat sini. slow2 lah lepas ni..

ni pun projek masa 'zaman mula2' menjahit dulu. smpai sekarang ianya masih digunakan.

yang ni pun sama. sebenarnya ini adalah bakul jahitan dan di atasnya mempunyai penutup. tapi disebabkan 'kerajinan' aku yg bermaharajalela, tutup tu dilupakan begitu saja. jadilah ia tempat menyimpan bedak2 serta sikat2 anak dara aku yg dua org tu.

Lain kali aku masukkan gambar projek2 zaman dulu. tunggu lah yer..zaman bila agaknya..huhuhu...

Been busy lately.. not really busy but I think the most suitable word for it is "being occupied". Yeah.. that's the word. School session is just around the corner therefore I would say, a mother like me is having some kinda "jogathon" everyday (especially towards the end of school break). So many things in my mind that yet to be realized. I'm not sure whether I can make it. Anyway I love being a mother!!! I'm having a wonderful experience being a mother to my kiddos and also a wife to my hubby. There's nothing more precious as compared to those wonderful experiences.
I treasure my life!!! That's it!!

Hey!!! Look what I've got. Kinda small treat for me!! I am madly in love with those fabrics!! I can't stop myself from buying the stashes. I think it is really therapeutic kinda thing. Don't u think so??

Ini adalah "pincushion" dan juga "needlebook case'"untuk pasangan "stash swap" saya, Ayu yang dirancang dan diatur oleh Hani. Kami tergolong di dalam kumpulan yang ketiga bagi tujuan tersebut. Barangan tersebut (serta beberapa barangan lain yg tdk sempat saya rakamkan gambarnya) adalah sebagai "suprise stash" dari saya. Terus-terang saya nyatakan di sini bahawa sesungguhnya saya berasa amat segan dan malu atas pemberian saya ini buat Ayu sementelah kerjatangan saya tidaklah secantik dan sekemas kerjatangan Ayu. Tetapi saya amat berharap yang Ayu akan menyukainya.

Sudah sekian lama saya tidak 'mengeraskan' tangan untuk menghasilkan sesuatu daripada 'felt', kan?? Jadi kali ini saya merasakan ada eloknya jika saya cuba 'mengeraskan' jari-jemari saya bagi tujuan tersebut. Saya pernah menghasilkannya sebelum ini di dalam entri yang lalu. Seperti biasa hasil kerjatangan saya ada sahaja 'cacat-cela' nya. Masih lagi tidak dapat menghasilkan kerjatangan sebaik rakan 'crafters' yang lain. Sedih juga...

Inilah hasilnya yang tak seberapa 'My Mr Heartfelt' tu . Saja saya namakannya begitu kerana tujuan ia dihasilkan tentulah untuk en suami yg tersayang (dengan harapan ianya dapat digantung di mana-mana di dalam bilik pejabatnya. He..he..he...). Walaupun pemberian ini nyata tak seberapa, en suami ternyata amat gembira menerimanya (mungkin sebab terpaksa menerimanya). Saya?? Tentulah sangat gembira...

Yang ini pula adalah "My Miss Birdie". Tujuan ia dihasilkan adalah untuk 'menempatkan' jarum-jarum peniti yang semakin bertambah di ruang menjahit saya. Ianya boleh digantung sekaligus menampakkan dirinya seolah-olah seperti seekor burung yang sedang terbang.

Finally the long awaited parcel has arrived!! I was so happy when I received the parcel from mr hubby. It's from Zura of Sewretrochic! I could not wait to see what's inside!!

Ta daaa... awesome stuffs inside!!

Closer view... These are the fabrics - American Cottons. They are from a very wellknown fabric designers - Amy Butler, Dena Designs & Alexander Henry. Wow!! I heart the fabrics soooo much. Many thanx to zura. Very kind of her to let me have those fabrics!!

The felts, buttons, ribbons, animal eyes n 'noses'. I was so lucky to have them. Anything not mention in the stash swap terms I regard it as a suprise which I greatly appreciate. Thanks again to zura.

Big suprise for me!! Really gives me kinda "INSPIRATION". The mag is fabulous. I Love it!! Really do. Suprising.. zura was able to read my mind especially my interest in embroidery.

I really want to say a big thanks to zura for all the good stuffs she has given me. I heart them sooo much. Actually she has given me more than what she is supposed to give!! Do drop by to her place. You will get amaze!!

Pinchusion and Sewing Caddy

Salam to everybody.. feeling low lately... maybe because of the weather especially in the east coast side where its been raining all day long. Nevertheless house chores never end!!! Always busy preparing the kids with their meals..hu..hu..hu..
By the way, bottom is the pincushion + sewing caddy for my 'sewing patner', Kak Anne. I have not met her for a long time. Really miss her. Ironicolly whenever I'm thinking of her, there will be a phone call by her. There you go Kak Anne. As usual it was not perfectly done by me but lucky me she loves it!! Thank you Kak Anne for everything. (I'm yet to have time to help creating a blog for her as she is 'blogless' at the moment). I will come over at her house (as she can not drive!!) and God Willing I'll help her with that matter, I mean blog thingy.

I've made the diary covers purposely to be given to Saffiya's teachers. Managed to finish two diary covers for her teachers. Hopefully I can finish the rest of it by today since tomorrow is the last day of school.

Above is for Cikgu Samli (her class teacher). Credit must be given to Natalie of Cinderberry Stitches for the embroidery pattern. Unfortunately it was not perfectly done by me!! hu..hu..hu..

1. Para peserta tolong bagitau saya apa kaler yg diaorang nak nanti saya akan update dan letak nama berserta dengan kaler yg dah dipilih disebelah sidebar saya ni...so senang nak pantau. Yang penting kaler putih diperlukan untuk background setiap block baru nampak timbul pattern dan juga kaler yg dah dipilih.. :) Saya cadang kan kita pakai 3 kaler :-1 . putih2 . kaler pilihan3 . kaler pilihan
2. Saya akan buat cabutan apabila kita dah nak start main siapa yg akan dapat no berapa dan block apa dia nak kena buat. Contohnye katakanlah..dalam bulan Januari Saya dapat no 1 dan block yang saya kena buat adalah block no 1 dan cik kema dapat no 2 block yg cik kema kena buat adalah block no 2 begitulah seterusnya sehingga block 12. Dan bila dah siap semua org kena hantar pada peserta pertama ini let say pada hari isnin minggu terakhir dalam bulan tersebut. Peserta pertama ini akan menerima 12 block yg berlainan dan dah boleh start buat quilt :) Jangan risau kalau tak paham nanti saya akan bagitau setiap bulan giliran siapa dan block apa dia kena buat...so tak keliru.
3. Cara penghantaran saya cadangkan pakai pos ekspress tu, yg envelop kecik tu..tak mahal sangat baru 3.50 kan?..
4. Tolong update blog supaya senang saya nak pantau siapa dah pos dan penerima dah terima parcel.

Me, myself have chosen white, pink and green as my project colours. Other frens?? Their choice of colours? I'll update later on.

*****Harap dapat tunjuk ajar daripada kawan2 quilters yang lain. Sy mmg tiada pengalaman langsung di dalam penyertaan sebegini. Memang sangat2 mengharapkan bantuan kawan2 yang lain.

Yeay!! Done with my exam and the book cover as well!!. The book is for my classmate, Haida. She's going to move to Shah Alam Campus for next semester onwards. We will miss her (a lot!!).

I hope she will remember 'us' (espc me) whenever she using it. A lot of memories with her and the rest of our friends. Hope she will cheerish the moment!!!

Myself again, "Actually that pencil case was for myself. Have a pity on me.. frankly i don't have a proper pencil case since I enrolled myself in UiTM (Kuantan Campus) for my BLS programme. hu..hu..hu.. It has been my 2nd year but I'm yet to have any!! All this while i've been using the pencil case which 'donated' by the Bank Rakyat (u know when ur kids put some savings with the bank, they normally gives u something as a compliment). Therefore I decided to make one for myself (sedut hingus banyak2-sedey nih). Again using the same fabrics as before but with different pattern. Whoa....."

Miss Pinky Beary said "wokeh..wokeh..please calm down yourself. Don't be so sad. U must be grateful on what u have at all times. No matter what, I think U did a great job (ni ayat letak bakul angkat sendiri ke??)".

A few raya goodie for my hubby's clients (last minute preparation-he never thought of doing it!!). I managed to prepare a few bags for them. I was so lucky that I've been given the chance to make the bags (kinda promotion for me???? he..he..he..) All of the same colour and pattern.

The 'biskut raya' were prepared by my sister 'Kak Aini'. Thanks kak for your patience in finishing the orders from your sista. She could sleep for only 3 hrs per day just to finish off with all the orders (but of course the 'priority' was mine!!) Kak, everybody asking where did i got the 'biskut'...so it's kinda promotion for you.. Thanks again kak!!

A handphone case for Kelly (my sister's friend). Young girl always fascinate about 'girly' thing that's why she chose that fabric (I guess so). It fits Nokia E series especially E61i, E71 n (how many E(s) do I have to mention here) and not to forget the iPhone as well. I've tried it!! It fits both my phone!! Yeay..next mission is for my own phone!!

See.. I told you, it fits on nokia E61i. Actually it has pocket at the back (forgot to snap the photo of it). Next time yea.. Anyway Kelly, thanx so much for your support. She is really a nice girl. Really..

Was made for my dear friend, Su. Really hardworking person and always mentioning that I am the luckiest person on earth. If it is true, I am really grateful. Anyway I'm happy with my life.
